Avoid installation errors, failed inspections and false alarms!

Improve the quality of fire alarm systems application using the 2016 edition of NFPA 72 as your guide. You'll bring your knowledge up-to-code with in-depth instruction that focuses on the correct planning, design, approval, installation, testing, and use of fire alarm and signaling systems.

Sessions are taught by fire protection professionals and code authorities who understand how and why the 2016 NFPA 72 addresses today's changing safety dynamics.

The seminar's technical exercises are based on the types of challenges you encounter in the field, so you'll leave with a wealth of practical tips, insights, and solutions you can immediately implement back on the job.

Upon completing this training:

  • Navigate the NFPA 72 format to find needed code provisions
  • Review key changes in the 2016 edition of NFPA 72 including new chapters on circuits and pathways and emergency control functions and interfaces
  • Use key NFPA 72 definitions to help interpret specific code requirements
  • Identify the key elements of all phases of a fire alarm system's life
  • Identify the stakeholders at different stages of a fire alarm system's life
  • Recognize the function of major fire alarm system components
  • Locate and apply key fire detection requirements for emergency control functions such as door control and elevator recall
  • Recognize the function of major fire alarm system components
  • Calculate the required spacing and determine the correct placement of fire detection devices for both protected premises fire alarms and for single- and multiple station alarms and household fire alarm systems.

All engineers, architects, fire brigades, inspection authorities, certification bodies, plan reviewers, designers, installers, inspectors, insurers, risk engineers, risk consultants, risk managers will have the perfect opportunity to learn more about the NFPA 72 standard with attending this training.

The only prerequisite for registration is interest in fire and life safety.

Registration fees

The participation fee per person is 1.800 USD (excluding 18% VAT) ‘dir.

The training fee includes lunch, coffee breaks, and the training material including the handbook of NFPA 72 as well as the simultaneous translation.

Participants will receive a certificate issued by NFPA with CEUs.
